Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, purchasing, or using Data TB™ software products, including applications, enterprise tools, and Software Development Kits (SDKs) (collectively, the "Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use our Software.
2. Software License & Usage Limits
Data TB grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software subject to the specific plan you purchased:
- Installation Limits: Your license is strictly limited to the number of endpoints specified at checkout (e.g., PC Count, Server Instances, or Developer Seats). Attempting to deploy or install the Software on more environments than your license permits will result in immediate license suspension.
- Duration: Licenses are valid for the exact duration purchased (e.g., 1 Month, 1 Year, Lifetime). Upon expiration, the Software will revert to the limited Demo Version unless renewed.
- Demo & Evaluation Limits: A free Demo/Evaluation Version is provided for testing. This version is limited by specific volume caps (e.g., restricted item counts or watermarks) depending on the Software. This allows you to thoroughly test the capabilities in your environment before committing to a purchase.
3. Payments, Billing & Refunds
All transactions are processed securely through our authorized payment partner, PayPal. By submitting payment, you agree to the pricing and limits outlined on the checkout page.
Refund Policy:
Because we provide free, fully-functional Demo Versions for all our applications and SDKs so you can verify compatibility and performance, all purchases are final. We strongly encourage users to utilize the evaluation tiers before purchasing a production license. Refunds are only granted in the rare event of verified, critical technical failures that our support team cannot resolve.
4. User Responsibilities & Data Sovereignty
Data TB Software operates entirely within your authorized environments (local machines, servers, or your cloud). We do not host your emails, databases, or files on our cloud servers. Therefore:
- Data Backup: You are solely responsible for creating secure backups of your original payload data before running conversion, migration, or processing operations.
- Legal Authority: You must have explicit, legal authorization to access, extract, or process the data using our Software. Using our tools for unauthorized data extraction is strictly prohibited.
5. Prohibited Activities
You may not: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software; (b) share, resell, or publicly distribute your license key; (c) use the Software to bypass security measures of third-party platforms; or (d) use automated scripts to circumvent developer seat or endpoint licensing limits.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Data TB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data corruption, hardware failure, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of our local software or SDKs. The Software is provided "AS IS".
